Contrary what most car owners think, clean the throttle body requires only small vehicles and an hour or two hours. In fact, after cleaning the body of your Audi or Volkswagen, your vehicle will deploy better performance and drivability, particularly in the areas of idle and throttle response.

In time, one should expect that the valve body car will suffer from corrosion caused by carbon and drying oils, which can significantly create a detrimental effect on air flow and throttle response of the car. Mainly, you need the right tools to clean them, and the main furniture like tool 5 mm Allen key or hex head, flathead screwdriver, carburetor cleaner, fabric, cotton, paper, vacuum hoses, and gaskets (optional).

Once you have prepared all the necessary tools, you first perform a portion of the vacuum hose to the top of your car, and unscrew the hose clamp using a screwdriver or pliers. After that, remove the hose from the valve body guide, and put it aside for you to focus on the wire harness. Using a flathead screwdriver, you can remove the wire harness, and proceed to the next step. The next step is to get your head 5 mm allen or hex key, loosen the four screws that attach the body to use most of your car. After you have removed the screws, you will realize that it’s simple just do the valve body of your car. At this time, you can now remove all the carbon and dry oil in the valve body through the carburetor cleaner and a rag. Typically, it takes 15-20 minutes to clean, depending on your technique and the amount of dirt in the valve.

Apply cleaner and just spray in and out of the valve body, and clean with a rag. Then, clean your car plates using cotton swabs, and using more clean if necessary, until you have cleaned every part of your car’s valve. When you complete the entire process of cleaning, you just need to reinstall and realign the components removed from your vehicle.
